Fiber Optic Termination & Inspection Microscopes
Handheld Optical FM-C Series:
Westover's FM-C series field
microscopes provide the highest image quality available when
inspecting fiber termination in the field. The C-Series
features coaxial illumination, which provides the most
critical view of the fiber faces. This renders scratches
highly visible and is the clear choice for field termination
in sensitive installations. All units come with integrated
laser safety filters, and 100,000 hours worth of LED
illumination. USES FMA ADAPTERS.
Adapters available for nearly every application.
Handheld Optical FM-E Series:
Westover FM-E series is the most
economical series of Westover handheld fiber field
microscopes. Units provide excellent view of end-face
cleanliness and core condition when inspecting fiber
terminations in the field. "E" series microscopes use
oblique illumination, and is strongly preferred by
maintenance technicians and installers who are not highly
specialized in fiber. Oblique illuminations does not show
scratches as well, and prevents over polishing, which saves
time. All units come with integrated laser safety filters,
and 100,000 hours worth of LED illumination.
USES FMAE ADAPTERS

Handheld Optical FM-DI
Series: Westover's FM-DI series is a
Dual illumination (oblique & coaxial) fiber inspection
microscopes that provides an excellent view of end-face
cleanliness and core condition. Oblique illuminations does
not show scratches as well, and prevents over polishing,
which saves time. While coaxial illumination can provide the
users with the highest image detail when inspecting fiber
terminations in the field. All units come with
integrated laser safety filters, and 100,000 hours worth of
LED illumination. USES FMAE ADAPTERS

Handheld Optical FM-L Series:
Westover's FM-L series fiber field
microscope provide an excellent view of the end-face
cleanliness and core condition when inspecting fiber
terminations in the field. The L-Series features oblique
illumination, is the preferred choice by maintenance
technicians and installers who are not highly specialized in
fiber. The fact that the scratches are not as clearly
visible as that of coaxial illumination, is viewed as an
advantage because it prevents over polishing and saves time.
All units come with integrated laser safety filters, and
100,000 hours worth of LED illumination.
USES FMA ADAPTERS. Adapters available for nearly every
application.
