Stand: Professional boom stand features precision ball bearing
focusing mechanism for accurate feel and long life. The focusing
mechanism can be tilted, rotated, and pivoted to suit almost any
application. The 18" vertical support rod allows for inspection of
large samples. The oversized heavy duty base plate and
counterbalance ensure that your system will not topple even when
raised to 18" and the boom arm extended for maximum reach. Head:
Binocular or tinocular head with folding mechanism for
interpupillary adjustment to maintain tube length. Diopter
adjustment on both eyetubes. Inclined at 45 degrees and rotatable
360 degrees. Zoom Optics: Zoom operates through smooth
turning side mounted control knobs, convenient for left or right
handed operation. Primary zoom magnification range of 0.7 to 4.5x
which produces a total magnification when used with 10x super wide
field eyepieces or 7x to 45x. Working distance of 88mm. Eyepiece:
10x super wide field eyepieces accept a 25mm diameter reticule.
Illumination: Two options available. Integrated fiber optic
light source with fiber optic ring lamp offers variable 150 watt of
illumination, and/or a 7 watt fluorescent ring lamp that attaches to
the nose cone of the head.
