Westover's FVCW
series bench top fiber microscopes are a combination workstation,
which uses coaxial illumination with a
blue 100,000 hour LED to illuminate the fiber face. Blue light has
the shortest wave length, and packs more of a punch. This allows for
better clarity of flaws, pits, scratches or debris on the face of
the fiber. Unit comes with Integrated 9" black & white monitor, &
fiber video inspection system, manual and FMA-U25 universal adapter.
Quickly switch between bench-top system and probe system, with a
flip of a switch. Spring loaded focusing
mechanism on front of unit allows for end user to easily focus onto
face of fiber. Build in Black & White CCD camera allows for the
highest level of protection from laser light.
IT IS NEVER RECOMMENDED TO VIEW LIVE FIBER IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
