Westover's FM-DI series field micrsocopes provide an excellent view of end-face cleanliness and core condition (using oblique illumination) as well as the highest image detail (using coaxial illumination) when inspecting fiber terminations in the field. Coupled with its rugged design, pristine optical performance, economical form-factor, and integrated laser safety filters, the DI-Series offers the best of both types of illumination and delivers true optical performance at an affordable price.

All Westover Field Microscopes are hand-held inspection tools that will provide years of service, true optical performance, and laser safety. Their design incorporates an LED for illumination that provides 100,000 hrs. of lamp life and extends battery life.

The DI-Series is a smaller version of the C-Series with the same optical performance. This microscope offers coaxial illumination for the highest level of image detail and oblique illumination that shows major defects and contaminants to prevent overpolishing.

The FM-DI image quality, durability and ease of use is second to none. There is no better tool available on the market. The DI series is offered in 100x and 200x magnifications.

The FM-DI series microscope uses the FMAE series adapters. To use our FMA series adapters the FMAE-CA1 or FMAE-CA2 coupler ring is used.
