FM "DI" Series
Hand Held Microscope
Westover Scientifics' FM-DI series microscopes are made to be
durable, light weight, and easy to use. With a rugged metal body covered with a rubber boot, you
can be assured that your microscope with last through its abuse.
Microscope is equipped with oblique and coaxial illumination and a
100,000 hour white LED. Coaxial illumination provides the end user
with the most amount of details to
see scratches, dirt, pits, oil, or any other flaw on the face of
your fiber quick and easy. Oblique illumination shows a lot of
details, but limits the number of scratches. LED light hits the
end-face at an angle, which highlights the core. Be assured that you have a clean fiber
before installing it. Built in IR filter will help's protect yours eyes
in case of accidental viewing. FIBERS
SHOULD NEVER BE VIEWED LIVE. Focusing mechanism allows
user to focus in on fiber easily.
Each fiber microscope comes with a nylon carrying case, eyecup, universal adapter used for inspection of LC, ST, FC and SMA
style connectors, and a user manual. Uses
3 LR-44 button cell batteries, which are not included.
