Economical Back Plane Fiber Inspection Probe Kits:

kits. This kits are half the cost of the more conventional Westover
FBP line, without sacrificing the durable and function. Units can be
used in any application where it is pre-polished, post-polished or
final inspection.
Systems only have
a limited number of tips, and cannot be used with all types of
connectors.
Back Plane Fiber
Inspection Probe:
Westover's back panel inspection probe is the most versatile
of their product lines. Not only can it be used to inspect
bulkhead connector, but also pre and post polished
connectors. Its design is compact enough to fit into the
palm of your hands, while durable to withstand being
dropped. Westover's now offers a new design option that
allows end user to easily switch between low (200x) and high
(400x) magnifications.

Inspection Long Reach Probe:
Westover's P3 long reach probe are great
for getting at those connectors that are hard to reach.
Increasingly, those connectors are ribbon ferrule based. The
FBP3 series is purpose-built for reaching between adjacent
cards/modules to reach optical connectors in the back plane.

Video Output
Module Kits:Westover's Video Output (VOM) kits,
are an easy and affordable way to own the versatile FBP probe. VOM
allows the probe signal to be sent to a video monitor, and allows for
up to two systems to be connected to it at the same time. For instance
you you can the FV bench top system and the FBP probe connected to the
same monitor. This is a great way to save the precious bench space,
while at the same time giving you more versatility.

Handheld Display:
Westover now offers two different types of
their ever so popular Hand held display. The HD1 (shown on
left) is primarily used for the FBP probe line, and has a
3.5" TFT LCD with front mounted contrast adjustment. For an
less expensive and more economical approach, Westover has
also developed the HD2 handheld display system, which
utilizes the same 3.5" TFT LCD. Several configuration
available to include: with integrated patch cord module &
integrated visual fault locator (VFL).
