Fiber Optic Termination Microscope Accessories
FMA Adapters:
Used in the inspection of fiber optical
cable. Can be used with Westover's FM-C, FM-L, FM-H, FV, FVW,
FVIW, FVCW, FVDW, & FVCW series. Can be used with FBPT
probes it tip FBPT-UFMA is used as an interface. Also can be
used with FM-E & FM-DI series with coupling adapter FMAE-CA1
. Complete line of adapters for nearly every type of
connector.
FBET Tips: Used in the
inspection of fiber optic connectors. Only can be used with Westover's
FBET probe series.
FBPT Tips:
Used in the inspection of fiber optic connectors. Only can
be used with Westover's FBPT probe series. Complete line of
tips for nearly every application.
FMAE Series Adapters:
Used in the inspection of fiber optical
cable. Can be used with FM-E, & FM-DI series. Can be used
with FBET probes if tip FBET-UFMAE is used as an interface.
P3 Tips: Used
in the inspection of fiber optic backplane bulkhead and
mother/daughter board/cards. Great for ribbon fiber as well.
Tip can only be used with FBP-P3 probe. Complete line of
tips available for nearly every connector.
Barrels: Change
the magnification or upgrade/replace your old barrel quickly and
easily. Barrels attach to FBP-P1, P5 & P7 style probes.
Video Output
Module: Westover video output modules are a
great way to save that precious bench space. Connect multiple products
to one monitor, and easily switch between them. Several configurations
available.
USB Module:
Westover USB modules offer a way to capture images
coming from video inspection scopes directly onto your PC. Two
different configurations allows user of the old 4 pin style probe and
the new digital 6 pin probe to be able to capture, save, annotate,
draw, and test fiber connectors using their PC.
To use FV, FVW, FVIW, FVCW, & FVDW system, a 4 or 6 pin to BNC
converter cable must be purchased.
Cables:
Some configurations of Westover products require
converter cables in order to work. Several different options
available.
Monitors:
9" & 12" NTSC & PAL monitor available for Westover's
FV, FVW, FVIW, FVDW, & FVCW series systems. Euro and UK plugs
available. Monitors are auto switchable between NTSC and PAL signal.
Eyepiece:
Magnification of Westover's FM-C, FM-L, FM-H, FM-E,
& FM-DI series can be easily changed by switching out the eyepiece.
Bulbs:
Complete line of replacement bulbs for Westover's
FM-H series line.
Objectives: Magnification on Westover's FM, FV,
FVW, FVIW, FVDW, & FVCW can be changed by replacement of objective
lens. We can either do it here for you, and you can attempt it
yourself. The objective lens sits just behind where the adapter is
located. Replacement on FM series are a bit more challenging. Please
call or email if you have questions on how to replace your objective
out.
Switches:
The number one failure for Westover's (FM) field
microscopes series is the switch. Over time oxidations causes a build
up on the metal components inside the switch. This build up, prevents
the circuit to be completed when switch is depressed. First signs of
switch failure is illuminations flickers as you move your fingered
around on the switch. Find replacement switches for FM-L and FM-H
series scopes. FM-C and FM-E series will need to be returned for
repair.
Battery
Cap: Replacement battery caps for Westover's
handheld (FM) field microscopes. Some adapters require the battery cap
to have a lower profile. Different styles available and work with all
Westover's (FM) field microscope lines.
Stands:
Stands can be used with Westover's LCD display's or
handheld (FM) field microscopes. Two options available.
Chargers/Power Supply's: Lost or have a broken
power supply, find a complete listing of all the power supply's
Westover's uses. Many options available to include UK & Euro style
plugs.
Carrying
Cases: Alternative to kits with hard-sided case.
May options available to include front pack, & holster.
Hard-sided
Carrying Cases: Various types of hard-sided
carrying cases designed to hold all of your Westover products. Build
your own kit, your buy a pre-designed one. Most cases will come with
foam designed to hold HD1, probe, tips, power supply, & manual. Larger
cases have die-cut foam for you to design your own layout.
